  1. Brightspeed is the WORST internet provider. They bought my account from Centurylink. Although I had some issues with Centurylink, Brightspeed has been a sham of a company.

    They will cancel service appointments and just not show up. I have filed my 2nd FTC complaint against Brightspeed. That company needs to be shut down. They are plain irresponsible and they lie to their customers.

    I was supposed to have fiber optic in October/November of 2024. Then they said March/April of 2025. Now we are into September 2025 and Brightspeed is alleging some time in 2025 my community will have fiber. More lies.

  2. BRIGHTSPEED IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A LANDLINE TELEPHONE COMPANY! I WILL INVESTIGATE TO SEE IF THERE IS A MORE RELIABLE COMPANY IN MY AREA! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE BRIGHTSPEED TO DEDUCT PAYMENT FOR THIS SERVICE! HOW DARE A COMPANY DO THIS!!! I CAN'T TELL WHAT BRIGHTSPEED IS CHARGING WITHOUT A PAPER STATEMENT!!! OH YES, I WAS TOLD TO LOOK ONLINE TO VEIW MY BILL. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN THERE ARE NO COMPUTERS????? I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE IN THE PHILIPPINES! NOT HER FAULT BUT SHE COULD NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!! AFTER HOLDING ON FOR HER 30 MINUTES OR MORE, I WAS CUT OFF! WHAT DOES THAT TELL ANYONE. US IS HIRES FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO DO THEIR WORK. THEY MOST LIKELY DO NOT PAY FOREIGN PEOPLE BUT VERY LITTLE AND THEN CHARGE USA PEOPLE AN ASTRONOMICAL PRICE FOR USA PEOPLE. I REALLY FEEL BRIGHTSPEED IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS!!!!! ANGRY!!!! CUSTOMER!!!!CUSTOMER 😠
