Years ago when in university I ran into a journal article that explained how mothers would fight the government about taking their sons for war. The government then saturated the media, movies, etc with messages ie momma's boy, wimp, hanging on to the apron strings etc. It worked, by WW2 the mothers had been silenced. You can still see the effects today. The government had no qualms about damaging the relationships between mothers and sons so they could get the sons for war.
The second one was so much worse than the first one it blew my mind.
Its hard to imagine warching a third iteration.

Just did watch Avatar 1 in 2010 and not interested in any other part . I am sure, American population choke on hollywood movies and MSM TV . And yes, full stadions at sport events and metal rock concerts. 😁
