Jan Markell is Founder and President of Olive Tree Ministries, a Christian ministry helping Christians see current events through the lens of the Bible. It also is a discernment ministry and encourages Christians to contend for the faith.
Jan is the author of 8 major books and a producer of eleven DVDs. She conducts an annual conference called Understanding the Times which is the largest of its nature in America. It draws attendees from 20 states each Fall.
She has an active Web ministry, print newsletter, and e-newsletter.
Her radio program, now in its ninth year, is also called Understanding the Times. It is syndicated and heard internationally via the Internet. It looks at news and views from a biblical perspective and also focuses on discernment issues for the church.

what makes me sad is that I understand how Messiah rises in us because in 1992 I had a terrible medical problem and fasted almost a whole year and did a lot of praying at that time. Within a year, I experienced this beautiful inner light that gave me a wonderful wisdom and understanding of all things spiritual. I was happier than ever in my whole life. The next year I turned 40 and suddenly my expanded consciousness started constricting and tightening till it became NON EXISTANT and I went into complete DARKNESS: I went from heaven to hell within two years but at that point, like King David I OPENED MY EYES IN HELL and discovered the GOOD ROOT, the MESSIAH is the HOLY OIL that we can ONLY REACH when we come to the END of self (EGO) and discover the evil root, the complete EMPTINESS in mankind that makes him so selfish, vulnerable, hateful, FEARFUL, loveless, and forever searching but never coming to the KNOWLEDGE of the truth: Until we reach the GOOD ROOT (good WILL) of Messiah in us, who shows up in hell with us to take us OUT and this is our salvation: Messiah is the DRAWING FORCE and BLOOD OF GOD, his ANOINTING OIL that must rise in us and does rise in us when we DENY OUR SELVES (EGOISM) and follow him to the place of the skull: It is that simple and that impossible because it takes a lot of prayer, fasting and denying your right hand (EGO) because the left hand (RECEPTIVE SIDE) brings forth the OIL, the ANOINTED ONE:
this is also why it is written, Rachel's children were killed under two: Once Christ is revealed, the antichrist is destroyed by Christ but first revealed: Paul said "I was alive once, "he was resurrected by Christ at Paul's visitation, his HOUR" but then Paul said the law came and slew him: So he had to go through the second death but Jesus rightfully said, he who is in the first resurrection the second death will not hurt the soul: ONLY THE VESSEL OF VANITY: (EGO)) See, those who have experienced CHRIST know how the scriptures fit together and they share it but to no avail to those who do not have a SPIRITUAL EAR to hear:
