I have seen that car in person. In about 1974. It was at my middle school for Show and Tell in Lorain, Ohio. There was an active Ford plant there back in those days. It must have been made there. My classmates step father drove it in for us to see. It was green and I distinctly remember it because the engine was in the back seat! Step Dad fired it up and we all jumped about a foot off the ground. WOW. I cant believe this is the car. I have been poking around and trying to find more about it. I am sure that it is still in private hands which is very interesting to me. Ford must have seen no value in it to let it leave the company. If you're looking for that car, Lorain, Ohio is the place to start. Also, I bet they built more than one of those things.
I wonder when this car will be found I bet it would be the most expensive mustang in existence if it were too come out
That's what you can do with your 2015 Mustang build.
Great thanks for sharing this. I had heard about this one but have never been able to find a pic of it. There was a post there from someone that stated the car exists he knows who ownes it. I hope you don't mind that I posted the following about MustangMedic. It may get you another very interesting restoration or at least more info on this unique Mustang:
Would it be possible to pass on contact information for Mustang Medic in Palm Springs to the current owner? They do restoration videos as they work on Mustangs and I'm sure they would love to hear from the guy that ownes it and what it's current condition is. At the time of this posting their location is: MustangMedic / co William

That is probably most likely a great handling car. I would love to drive it. They should have made more of them. I bet its a great pikes peak car. Ford secret weapon for road and track racing. It was probably not a bad quarter mile car either.
